18-Year Industry Veteran and Former Marine Corps. Officer Experienced In Building and Leading Sales Operations for Top-Level Companies
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, Apr. 20, 2007 — Liberty Wire & Cable, worldwide supplier of a broad range of wire and cable products for the audio/video trade, has announced the appointment of John D. Dace as its new Vice President of Sales.
Mr. Dace brings to Liberty 18 years experience in building and leading sales operations for world-class, market-leading companies. Before joining Liberty, he served as Director of Commercial Sales for Chief Manufacturing, where he was responsible for three sales divisions with 35 percent growth, year over year.

Prior to Chief, Mr. Dace served as National Sales Manager at 3M Company, a $19 billion Fortune 100 company, and, earlier, as Regional Sales Manager at Nalco Chemical, a $2.9 billion Fortune 1000 company, where he was repeatedly promoted for outstanding performance.
Mr. Dace’s training began with a BS in Applied Science/Engineering at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, followed by his commission and service as a Naval Flight Officer for the Marine Corps.
