FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WOODBURY, NY — Everybody wants to be a rock and roll star — and fans can make their musical dreams come true at the summer 2006 Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp, which will take place in New York City from August 13 — 17, 2006.

JBL, the leading manufacturer of professional and consumer loudspeakers, has signed on as a sponsor of the upcoming Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp, and will be supplying rehearsal and performance studios with JBL Professional sound-reinforcement systems and equipment.

In true Big Apple fashion, this Camp will be the biggest and most intense ever. The lineup of rock legends includes Jon Anderson (Yes), Dickey Betts (The Allman Brothers, Dickey Betts & Great Southern), Levon Helm (The Band), Dr. John, legendary guitarist Joe Satriani, George Thorogood (George Thorogood and the Destroyers), Mark Farner (formerly of Grand Funk Railroad), Max Weinberg (Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, the Max Weinberg 7) and Dee Snider (Twisted Sister).

Paul Bente, president of JBL Consumer Products, noted: “JBL is extremely proud to be a sponsor of the summer 2006 Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp. JBL and rock and roll have always gone together. Professional musicians, recording studios and touring sound companies have always relied on JBL loudspeakers for great sound — and at the 2006 Camp, we’re providing a number of top-quality JBL Professional sound systems for the attendees to rehearse and perform with, so everyone will hear their music the way it was meant to be heard.”

During the course of five activity-packed days and nights, participants will have the opportunity to learn from, practice, jam and hang out with some of the world’s most renowned rock musicians and songwriters. No experience is necessary, and all musical levels are welcome.

Attendees will receive up-close-and-personal instruction from the celebrity-musician Camp band, featuring Teddy “Zig Zag” Andreadis (Guns N’ Roses, Alice Cooper), Jeff “Skunk” Baxter (Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers), Spencer Davis (Spencer Davis Group), Sandy Gennaro (Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett), Barry Goudreau (Boston), Kelly Keagy (Night Ranger), Simon Kirke (Bad Company,
Free), Bruce Kulick (Kiss), Peter Tork (The Monkees), and many more rock and roll greats.

The musicians will hear themselves with stunning clarity through JBL’s E-System 15 complete portable sound-reinforcement system with EON15 G2 pro audio loudspeakers. The E-System 15 includes a Soundcraft E8 mixing console, renowned for its superlative sound and control flexibility, AKG professional microphones, and JBL EON15 G2 loudspeakers.

JBL EON loudspeakers have established themselves as the industry standard for professional DJ, musical instrument and portable sound reinforcement use. The EON15 G2 is the flagship of the second-generation JBL G2 EON lineup, which now offers better performance than ever. The EON15 G2 delivers 400 watts of built-in power into an ultraheavy-duty 15-inch woofer and high-efficiency, horn-loaded high-frequency driver, to pump out incredibly powerful, detailed and dynamic sound with open, extended highs, a musically accurate midrange, and massive, room-shaking deep bass that can be felt as well as heard.

For five days and nights, campers will be immersed in the music and camaraderie of rock and roll. In addition to rehearsing, performing, attending seminars and socializing, campers will have the opportunity to compete and play live on the air at an original song contest to be broadcast from the studios of SIRIUS Satellite Radio, and Gibson Guitar, the world’s premier musical instrument manufacturer, has provided its Gibson Entertainment Relations Showroom as a venue in which all musicians will have a chance to perform. For the grand finale, campers will have the opportunity to play live onstage at New York’s world-famous BB King Blues Club & Grill in the heart of Times Square, New York.
