Interactive Voice ivee Digit Alarm Clock

Interactive Voice introduced the ivee Digit alarm clock and voice controlled, interactive, bedside assistant. Developed to deliver a unique experience between user and machine, ivee is one of the most advanced and intelligent speech recognition devices available. A simple “hello ivee” brings her to life and delves users into a world of device interaction that they have only dreamed about. By listening to verbal cues and commands, ivee can respond telling you the time, date, temperature and much more.

The ivee Digit is a 3-inch LCD digital alarm clock with 35 voice-activated commands that range from alarm settings to time, temperature, sleep sounds and more. ivee Digit is hands-free, has three sleeps sounds, three alarm sounds, a nine-minute snooze, a timer and comes with a USB AC adapter. For battery backup, ivee uses three AAA batteries.

ivee is always listening. To start, say “Hello ivee.” She’ll greet you then ask for a command. You say, “Set Alarm 1.” ivee says, “please tell me the alarm time.” You say, “seven o’clock AM.” She says, “Alarm 1 is set to 7:00 AM.” Everything is natural, like you were talking to your personal assistant named ivee.

Equipped with the latest Natural Language Processor (NLP), ivee devices have been developed using the sounds of thousands of different voices from all over North America and can understand different dialects, accents, and dictions, so no voice training is needed. In addition, ivee devices are equipped with four sophisticated speech recognition technologies:

  1. Natural Time Set – allows you to say the actual time or alarm time naturally
  2. Hands-Free Trigger – no button to push since ivee devices are always listening and activated by the keywords “Hello ivee”
  3. Word Spotting – no pause is needed before you give ivee her commands as she can pull her trigger right out of a sentence
  4. Ambient Noise Rejection – filtering technology eliminates interference from background noise

“The launch of Apple’s Siri has generated a great deal of excitement around voice control technology, promoting mass acceptance of a technology that was once feared,” stated ivee’s CEO Jonathon Nostrant. “We created ivee as a personal bedside assistant for everyone. Digit, our first product, is an interactive, voice control, digital alarm clock that responds to your commands and accomplishes simple everyday tasks you need it to, like setting your alarm. But our future is to increase the capability of ivee as a true personal assistant, giving her the ability to provide a much more robust functionality beyond the realm of time and alarms.”

“Whether you realize it or not, you have a relationship with your alarm clock and you interact with it daily. ivee personalizes the experience to you; she’s there when you need her, awaiting your command. She helps you do the simple things you do every day in a much simpler way,” concluded Nostrant.
