Gregory Giacone establishes GCN Consulting

LOS ANGELES (May 1, 2007) — After 28 years with a leading 12-volt manufacturer, Gregory Giacone is pleased to announce that he has formed GCN Consulting. Initially focused on assisting customers in the consumer electronics industry, GCN Consulting will help companies with debt recovery, cash forecasting and accounts receivable procedures.

Founder and CEO of GCN Consulting, Gregory Giacone has a long history in the consumer electronics and 12-volt industry most notably for his 28 years at Alpine Electronics America, Inc. as the corporate credit manager. As one of the five founding employees of Alpine Electronics America, Inc, Gregory established the company’s credit policy and continued to develop and evolve the policy as the company grew. According to Greg, “the success of any growing or established company that sells goods and services must have a credit philosophy that ‘credit is a privilege that each customer earns continually.'” He believes that “the credit department must also have the basic attitude that the credit decision must have the business factor as an element. This builds on customer relationships as a keystone to success.”

It is these basic beliefs that enabled Greg to maintain an efficient credit team at Alpine that handled both aftermarket and OEM customers. Greg’s signature credit collection policies and procedures support both sales and marketing objectives while promoting a winning environment for the company and its customers.

Prior to his position at Alpine, Greg worked at Motorola of over 10 years leading their credit department within their Communication & Electronics division. With extensive knowledge of the consumer electronics industry, Greg hopes his background will help companies in need of establishing, adjusting, revising or completely transforming their credit policies and procedures.
