Aurobindo Pharma Simplifies HR Processes with CheckPoint HR’s Web-based Platform

Edison, NJ (July 30, 2007) — CheckPoint HR, LLC, an innovator and leading Administrative Service Organization (ASO) that offers small- to mid-size organizations a single-source for human resources, payroll services and benefits administration, today announced that Aurobindo Pharma USA is automating all HR processes utilizing its web-based Human Resource Management System (HRMS) portal.

Aurobindo Pharma, a leading manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients, has streamlined HR processes to gain efficiencies and stay competitive in a constantly changing market space. With more than 16,000 global employees in over 100 countries, CheckPoint HR services the New Jersey office as the only US operation for the Indian-based company.

“Twenty-four seven Web-access to personnel information is an added bonus for our employees,” said Scott White, Aurobindo Pharma CEO. “Employee vacation and paid time off requests are generated, approved and tracked through our system, and this feature helps us plan the business year accordingly. Our senior management team was concerned about the threat of too many employees using their days at the end of the year. With CheckPoint HR, we can better monitor this situation and plan our calendar year.”

Aurobindo has CheckPoint HR’s online portal to new levels of self-service innovations — employees can easily retrieve their current and historical pay statements as well as benefit elections. With the central HRMS platform, employees can view company news, phone lists and corporate policies via the Aurobindo Pharma home page courtesy of CheckPoint HR. For HR department heads, multiple reports can be accessed to organize various internal processes.

“Aurobindo needed a turnkey, cost-effective solution which would deliver payroll, benefits and an HRMS, application,” said Patrick Carragher, CheckPoint HR partner. “Not only have we delivered on that promise but given them the capability to use the CheckPoint HR solution to manage the entire employee lifecycle at a reduced cost versus competitive offerings.”
