Finn Appointed Training Manager for Velodyne Acoustics

Morgan Hill, CA (May 20, 2008) — Velodyne Acoustics, Inc., the world’s leading manufacturer of powered subwoofers for home-theater and consumer audio, recently appointed Joe Finn to the position of training manager. In this newly created position, Finn will develop sales training programs and technical documentation to support Velodyne’s complete line of subwoofers.

The programs will be targeted to meet the product education and information needs of Velodyne dealers, custom installers, distributors, retailers, as well as sales representatives. These customized sales training programs will be held in the U.S., Canada and various international locations.

Finn returns to Velodyne with an extensive background in the audio industry. Previously at Velodyne, Finn was the eastern regional sales manager. He has held various managerial positions for companies such as Tandem Marketing Inc., Sonance, Bang & Olufsen America Inc. and Polk Audio. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marquette University and a Masters of Educational Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago.
