Exterity Doubles Number Of Channel Partnerships In Just Six Months

Reseller reap the benefits of selling network AV to new and existing customers

London, 2nd May 2006: Exterity, a specialist in network audio-visual (AV), has doubled its reseller base in just six months. AV integration companies such as Asysco and Quadrant Visual Solutions are just a few of those reaping the financial benefits of reselling network AV equipment into education, SMEs and blue-chips companies. Exterity aims to further increase its reseller base by 60 per cent by the end of the 2006.

Exterity believes that its success within the channel is due to the versatility of its TVgateway, encoder and receiver products, which are ‘plug and play’ broadcast TV to IP network distribution equipment. By simply deploying these products, Exterity and its partners can deliver broadcast standard media and TV across any Ethernet network, without the need for additional cables or an expensive RF video distribution system.

“We believe our products provide resellers with a fantastic opportunity to return to existing clients, offering them a network AV solution that can simply bolt on to their existing network, making the most of the existing bandwidth and delivering IPTV or media streaming to any end point, explained Colin Farquhar, CEO, Exterity. “Equally our resellers can identify new opportunities, in new markets that can generate additional revenue.”

Exterity works extremely closely with all its partners, providing comprehensive product training on an ongoing basis as well as accreditation and joint marketing. Furthermore, Exterity appoints a sales manager to each partner account, ensuring all resellers are continually supported in the form of attendance at end user meetings and installations.
