Comprehensive 30-Piece Line Provides Specialty Dealers with the Latest in Reliable IR Products to Meet All Their Installation Needs
LEXINGTON, KY — ELAN Home Systems today announced the company has just launched an entire new, comprehensive line of infrared (IR) products designed for home networking and entertainment distribution. ELAN’s collection of IR control products was initially developed to specifically address the needs of the custom installation market and is now being expanded to include a complete line of the latest and greatest in plasma-friendly sensors, state-of-the-art emitters and a multitude of other IR distribution solutions and accessories. These products are now available to all ELAN Dealers and Distributors.
Designed to be used in virtually any environment, the ELAN IR Sensor pieces in the line feature a unique filtering system that reduces interference from both ambient light sources and Plasma TVs. The new products include Sensors to best suit about every application and can be flush-mounted into a wall or cabinet, placed on a shelf or tabletop, or surfaced-mounted anywhere one is needed. The line even includes two Extreme Plasma Sensors that were designed to provide highly reliable IR control under even the most severe Plasma emission situations.
“This broad new lineup has been designed to present our Dealers with yet another complete category offering from ELAN that will help streamline their ordering and integration needs. Our goal was to deliver a line that is exceptionally reliable, affordable and can be seamlessly integrated with the extensive range of ELAN products as well as other A/V components, and this product line does it,” stated Bob Farinelli, ELAN’s President and Chief Technology Officer.
This latest ELAN IR product line includes the plasma-friendly IR Sensors, and also provides Installers a wide variety of IR Emitters that are incredibly reliable, and offer easy removal of the Emitter when servicing equipment. Additionally, there is a complete offering of stand-alone IR Distribution Hubs that accommodate everything from basic IR repeater systems to multi-zone distribution scenarios. As a complement to the new IR control line, ELAN also offers a variety of compatible accessories including cables.
ELAN’s new IR product line is available now at manufacturer’s suggested retail prices ranging from $12.00 to $34.00 for IR Emitters, $70.00 to $164.00 for Plasma-friendly IR Sensors, $12.00 to $204.00 for Distribution products, and $10.00 to $60.00 for IR Accessories.
