DALI’s OBERON GRAND VOKAL Takes Center Stage

DALI has expanded its OBERON loudspeaker series with the new GRAND VOKAL center channel speaker.

DALI OBERON GRAND Vokal Center Channel Speaker

I’m a huge proponent of 3.1 home theater systems for consumers who want a better experience than a soundbar but have to contend with a lack of space in their home. Not everyone wants rear surround or ceiling height channels and there is nothing amiss in regard to a full-range 3.1 that can be used for both movies and music.

DALI offers a wide range of center channel speakers that can be used with their OBERON, SPEKTOR, OPTICON MK2, RUBICON, and EPICON home theater systems.

The DALI OBERON GRAND VOKAL is a 2-way, full-range centre speaker for large rooms. It can easily support bigger floorstanding speakers like the OBERON 7 and OBERON 9.

DALI OBERON GRAND Vokal Tweeter

Featuring two 7-inch SMC-based woofers and an oversized, ultra-lightweight, 29 mm soft dome tweeter, the GRAND VOKAL blends seamlessly with any OBERON surround sound setup, delivering crystal-clear dialogue, sound effects and music at any volume.

Suitable for placement above or below a screen, on a stand or a shelf, the GRAND VOKAL delivers classic OBERON sound on a huge scale with high power handling and dynamics able to produce transparent sound at low and high volume.

The oversized 29 mm membrane of the soft dome tweeter is constructed from an ultra-light weight weave fabric which is half the weight of most models in the market.

The extended frequency response is combined with super wide dispersion. By including a patented SMC disc in the woofer magnet’s iron pole-piece, the GRAND VOKAL greatly reduces mechanical distortion for a relaxed midrange with lots of detail.
