Creative Digital Wireless Gaming Headset HS-1200 and Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000 Offer X-Fi Audio Technology

Creative, a worldwide leader in digital entertainment products, today announced the Creative Digital Wireless Gaming Headset HS-1200, the world’s first bi-directional wireless gaming headset with X-Fi audio technology. Creative also announced the Creative Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000 featuring X-Fi Audio Technology. Approved by CGS (Championship Gaming Series) and Teamspeak, both the Creative Digital Wireless Gaming Headset HS-1200 and the Creative Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000 meet the rigorous performance requirements of the most hardcore gamers.

The Creative Digital Wireless Gaming Headset HS-1200 is a 2.4 GHz bi-directional wireless headset, empowering you to shout commands or talk strategy in full stereo in the heat of battle without compromising your ability to hear the action surrounding you. Throw your arms up in victory and spin around in your chair without ripping the headset off your head after you conquer your opponent.

For the first time ever, gamers can now experience the performance of a premium gaming headset without getting tangled up in wires. Just plug the included wireless transceiver into an open USB port and you are good to go. The headset features volume and send/receive controls right on the ear cup, so the conversation can continue more than 70 feet away from the PC. The adjustable noise-cancellation mic conveniently turns off when raised up and instantly re-engages when moved back down. “Creative has expanded its popular line of gaming headsets so gamers are able to choose just the right weapon for their ultimate gaming arsenal,” said Ryan Schlieper, product marketing specialist for headsets at Creative. “Both the Creative Digital Wireless Gaming Headset HS-1200 and the Creative Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000 feature X-Fi audio technology and produce the exceptional PC gaming audio experience that only Creative can deliver. You’re completely enveloped with explosions, gunfire and the clang of cold steel swords against your enemies’ armor – your games will never sound the same again.”

The Creative Digital Wireless Gaming Headset HS-1200 and the Creative Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000 feature Creative’s proprietary X-Fi audio technology including:

  • X-Fi Crystalizer technology, which leverages audio algorithms to intelligently and selectively determine how to restore the highs and lows from sound effects, instruments and vocals and voices that were damaged or diminished during the game audio, MP3, AAC or other compression processes.
  • X-Fi CMSS-3D technology, to create virtual surround sound in games or music. In games, you hear your opponents in their precise location. With music, the sound expands so it completely surrounds you.

The Creative Digital Wireless Gaming Headset HS-1200’s built-in rechargeable battery lasts for up to six hours, but the game doesn’t have to stop when the battery runs out of juice. Simply plug the headset in to charge and use it in wired mode.

HS-1000

The detachable noise-canceling microphone on the Creative Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000 clearly transmits your voice so your team can hear the difference between “get down!” and “go around!” in the midst of heavy battle. Detach the mic and the Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset can be used to listen to music or movies.

Pricing and Availability
The Creative Digital Wireless Gaming Headset HS-1200 retails for $99.99 and the Creative Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000 retails for $79.99.
