ClearView Audio Clio Wireless Speaker

ClearView Audio Clio Speaker

Clio, by ClearView Audio, is a revolutionary new wireless speaker that uses an ultra-thin, slightly curved, and optically clear acrylic glass transducer to disperse sound waves in multiple directions. Because of its innovative acoustic design, Clio can be placed anywhere and produce rich, clear, room-filling sound. Clio’s sleek, minimalistic design allows the barely visible speaker to “disappear” against its surroundings.

ClearView Audio has developed Edge Motion, a breakthrough patented technology that creates high quality audio from an optically clear speaker. This technology uses a very different mechanical principle to generate sound. Instead of pushing from behind, like a traditional cone speaker, Edge Motion-driven speakers use piezo-electric actuators to stimulate the sides of an optically clear acrylic glass stereo transducer to produce an extremely efficient, piston-like motion. The result is a thin, lightweight and invisible transducer that produces rich, full sound across the audio range.

The invisible wireless speaker is named after one of the nine goddesses of music, song and dance, Clio. The speaker connects to just about any Bluetooth enabled smartphone or tablet to stream your music to it. Unlike traditional cone speakers that push sound waves in one direction, Clio produces stereo sound from both sides of the speaker, offering a 360° sound experience.
