Has it really been 7 years? We wish we knew more details about this upcoming release which we think is an updated Chord Mojo 2, but right now all Chord is prepared to announce on its website is the headline, “Counting down to January 31st 2022.”
Chord has not taken its foot off the pedal at all during the pandemic releasing updated versions of its best-selling products and the outstanding Chord Huei Phono Stage that we recently reviewed.
The British manufacturer is being very tight-lipped about this new product but the image on the website makes us think that a new Chord Mojo 2 is forthcoming.
The $599 Mojo DAC/Headphone Amplifier was a groundbreaking product when it launched in 2015 and we doubt the Mojo 2 will be anything less than a category buster considering how far Chord’s digital products have advanced in recent years.
Stay tuned for more information on this as the Chord Mojo 2 is likely to be one of the best portable/desktop DAC/Headphone Amplifiers on the market in 2022.
