Boston Acoustics Changes Name of Flagship Series

Vista Series Is Now “VS Series”

Name Change Prompted by Feedback from Company’s Valued Channel Partners; “VS” Underscores Key Attributes, Debuting “A New Vision in Great Sound”

Boston Acoustics, Inc., world-renowned manufacturer of high-performance loudspeakers, today announced that it is changing the name of new flagship loudspeaker series, previously introduced as “Vista,” to “VS Series.” The new “VS” moniker, which signifies the launch of a “new Vision in great Sound,” was chosen to reflect the best attributes of the unique speakers, which combine richly detailed audio performance with visually striking, furniture-grade cabinetry and beautiful designs. In addition to spotlighting key attributes of the series, the name change will also avoid any potential confusion with similarly named products.

Boston Acoustics Sr. Vice President & General Manager Eli Harary, noted: “At Boston Acoustics, we listen very closely to the feedback and suggestions of our valued channel partners, distributors and retail customers, and our sole aim is to provide all our customers with the easiest and most efficient way to experience the benefits of our products. Based on input from CEDIA, we decided to change from Vista to ‘VS,’ underscoring the message that this new flagship series represents ‘a new Vision in great Sound.’ We are currently making all necessary adjustments to our promotional materials and we foresee no impediment to the timely and successful market introduction of these exceptional products.”

Superior Sound, Sophisticated Design
Boston Acoustics brought all of its expertise, engineering, and design skill to bear in creating its new Vista loudspeakers, which feature the highest quality build materials, innovative acoustic & transducer technologies, and meticulous craftsmanship.

The four new Boston Acoustics VS Series models include: VS 336 3-Way Triple 6-1/2″ Floorstanding Loudspeaker (MAP: $1,699.99), VS 325C 3-Way Dual 5-1/4″ Center Channel (MAP: $899.99), VS 240 2-Way 4-1/4″ Bookshelf (MAP: $399.99), and VPS 210 10″ Class-D 500-watt High-Powered Subwoofer (MAP: $1,699.99), bring together superior sonic reproduction capabilities with exciting new dimensions in loudspeaker elegance and aesthetics. Several VS Series models are currently available at selected independent stores across the country, with the initial four models in the Series all scheduled for rollout availability by the end of summer. In addition to the initial four models, two additional VS loudspeakers, the VS 224 2-Way Dual 4 ½” LCR and VS 260 2-Way 6 ½” Bookshelf, are scheduled for market introduction this fall, both with MAPs of $699.99 each.
