Blaupunkt Ships Affordable T-Line CD Receivers

BROADVIEW, IL (4/6/04) — Blaupunkt has introduced its new T-Line of high value AM/FM CD receivers, consisting of five models, including two with MP3 compatibility, at suggested retail prices under $200. All of the models include attractive styling, a three band preset EQ, and four-level XBass control for ideal aesthetic and acoustic integration with any vehicle.

The Monte Carlo MP34 AM/FM CD receiver is compatible with MP3-encoded CD-R/RWs, which are capable of storing up to 10 hours of music on a single disc. The radio displays ID3 tag information on its two-color LCD display, showing track title, artist, and album information, and the flip-down faceplate is detachable for security. The unit also includes four-channel preouts and an auxiliary input for system expansion, and a slim handheld remote control. The Monte Carlo MP34 has a suggested retail price of $179.95.

The MP3-compatible Bahamas MP34 AM/FM CD receiver includes four-channel preouts and an auxiliary input. It features a flip-down detachable faceplate for security with an attractive three color LCD display, and a handheld remote control. It also includes controls for use with compatible Blaupunkt CD changer units. The Bahamas MP34 is available only through Blaupunkt Select Dealers. The Bahamas MP34 has a suggested retail price of $199.95.

The Venice Beach CD34 AM/FM CD receiver, also a Blaupunkt Select Dealer product, features a white LCD display, attractive black molded flip-down detachable faceplate, and a handheld credit card remote control. It includes four-channel preouts, an auxiliary input, and controls for use with compatible Blaupunkt CD changer units, as well as the three preset EQ and XBass control common to the entire T Line. The Venice Beach CD34 has a suggested retail price of $169.95.

The Montreal CD34 AM/FM CD receiver features a detachable faceplate for security with an attractive three-color LCD display, and a handheld remote control. It includes an auxiliary input and two-channel pre-outs for integration with other equipment, a high sensitivity AM/FM tuner with 30 presets, as well as the three preset EQ and XBass control common to the entire T Line. The Montreal CD34 has a suggested retail price of $139.95.

The Indianapolis CD34 AM/FM CD receiver features a white LCD display and detachable faceplate for security. It includes a high sensitivity AM/FM tuner with 30 presets, as well as the three preset EQ and XBass control common to the entire T Line. The Indianapolis CD34 has a suggested retail price of $119.95.

All models in Blaupunkt’s T-Line are currently available. The Bahamas MP34 and Venice Beach CD34 are available only through Blaupunkt Select Dealers. The Monte Carlo MP34, Montreal CD34, and Indianapolis CD34 are available through all Blaupunkt dealers.
