AVAD Partners with Chief

America’s Leading Distributor of Custom Home Electronics Adds Mounting Solution Manufacturer to Roster of Best Brands

Van Nuys, Calif. — June 11, 2007 — AVAD LLC, America’s leading distributor of custom home electronics, announced today that the company has entered into a distribution agreement with Chief, the leader in mounting solutions and accessories for projectors and flat panel displays.

Effective immediately, AVAD will carry Chief mounts for flat screen TV’s and projectors: Reaction Articulating Arms, In-Wall Accessories, Cinematic Motorized Mounts and Projector Mounts and Accessories at each of the company’s 37 U.S. locations. By partnering with AVAD, Chief now has access to the AVAD network of over 9,000 dealers, enabling the company to broaden its reach within the custom installation market.

AVAD will serve as a supply chain partner to distribute Chief products, creating a go-to market plan that focuses efforts locally to build brand presence among electronic system contractors across the United States. In addition, AVAD will provide dealers with Chief product training, complete technical support and fast and easy access to inventory at locations across the country.

AVAD dealers will benefit from a wide variety of Chief’s unique flat panel mounting solutions, affording them the freedom to design home electronic systems that truly work within a room, regardless of space requirements.
