NEWMARKET, N.H., August 21, 2006 — Russound, the #1 brand in multiroom audio, today announced Andy Lewis was promoted to Senior Product Manager. Previously, he held the role of Product Manager. The announcement was made by Ian Popken, Russound’s Director of Product Development.

In his new role, Lewis will be responsible for product line architecture, product and technology roadmap planning and leading teams of product managers in larger product line development activities.

“Andy’s creativity, natural talent for leadership and inarguable contribution to some of Russound’s most successful products make him a natural for this newly created position,” said Popken. “With his new responsibilities, we’re sure Andy will help the company continue to grow its focus and maintain its leadership role in the multiroom audio market.”

Lewis is credited as being a driving force behind the creation and success of Russound’s RNET line of advanced technology products that “communicate” with one another, through a variety of “Smart” sources and keypads.

“Andy’s driving commitment to the RNET line has helped take the multiroom experience to another level, with consumer and installer satisfaction off the map,” added Popken.

Lewis joined Russound in 2000. He enjoys a distinguished 27-year career in the audio industry having held several prominent technical and engineering positions with noted brands B&W, EAW, Apogee Acoustics, Signet, Acoustic Research and Audio Design Associates.
