Campfire Audio Launches CampfireAudio.Market for IEM Lovers

Looking for a pair of Campfire Audio IEMs at lower than retail prices? They’ve announced the Campfire Audio Market for just that reason.

Campfire Audio Market

Going direct has proven to be a successful model for some high-end brands like Schiit Audio, and we’re starting to see more companies within the headphone category cut out the middleman as well. A pair of Campfire Audio Holocene are my daily driver in the IEM category and I have nothing but good things to say about the product and their customer service.

Their IEMs are not inexpensive, however, and I can see a lot of consumers sticking with cheaper offerings to save money.

But what if you could experience the Campfire Audio sound for less than the regular retail pricing?

Boutique IEM manufacturer Campfire Audio has announced the opening of CampfireAudio.Market – a new online storefront that gives music lovers more ways to experience Campfire Audio earphones than ever before.

Featuring a curated selection of A-Stock, B-Stock, and certified pre-owned units from across Campfire’s line of critically acclaimed offerings, the CampfireAudio.Market serves as a reputable marketplace for fans interested in exploring the brand’s peerless collection of earphones from across its history.

The Campfire Audio Market is your destination for all eras of CA Hi-Fi

“With CampfireAudio.Market we’re able to give fans of the brand access to our entire history, and people who may be interested in checking us out a cost-effective way to experience some of our favorite models,” said Campfire Audio Vice President Caleb Rosenau. “Every earphone we’ve ever designed has its own unique sonic signature, and this is a great opportunity to explore them all!”

A-Stock & NOS

A-Stock products are in new factory-fresh condition.  They are typically discounted for being overstock or discontinued. These products are serialized and ship in full retail packaging and include standard accessories  (cable, carrying case, 3 sets of ear tips, and cleaning tool).  A-Stock items are fully covered under our manufacturer’s 2-year warranty unless otherwise noted.

NOS is short for New Old Stock.  These are products that are out of production, have not previously been sold to a customer, and are in new factory-fresh condition, however the packaging and accessories may vary from the original release. NOS products are backed by a1-year warranty.

B-Stock

The standards at Campfire Audio are high. Any newly made earphones that have the slightest cosmetic blemish are categorized as B-Stock. Each B-Stock item is tested just like any other to ensure that the sonic qualities are uncompromised. B-Stock products are brand new and have not been used or previously sold.

B-Stock products ship in non-retail packaging and include a cable, carrying case, 3 sets of ear tips, and cleaning tool.  Accessories may vary. B-Stock items are covered under a 1-year warranty.

Pre-Owned

The Campfire Audio Marketplace offers a wide range of Pre-Owned IEMs in a variety of condition ratings. This offers chances for customers to get their hands on IEMs from different price ranges and eras that they otherwise might not be able to access.

Some Pre-Owned IEMs were simply returned within the 14-day return window, others have been the result of returns or other exchanges within the company. Each Pre-Owned IEM is cleaned, inspected, and passes through the same rigorous sonic testing that all of the A-stock IEMs undergo.

Pre-Owned IEMs ship in market packaging, and include a new, unused case and cable, selection of eartips, mesh IEM bag, cleaning tool and a 90-day limited warranty. This covers any manufacturer defect that affects sonic performance. After the 90-day period, repair service is available, charge for repairs will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Pre-Owned IEMs are rated using the following criteria:

  • Like-New: Indistinguishable from an A-stock product, but has at some point left our shop and been returned to us.
  • Very Good: Small, almost unnoticeable cosmetic defects and very little signs of overall use. Perhaps 1-2 small cosmetic blemishes.
  • Good: Some noticeable cosmetic defects, but only displaying signs of wear commensurate with a brief period of ownership and use.
  • Acceptable: Anything with heavier signs of wear or significant enough damage that it precludes it from being considered good condition. Acceptable rated IEMs can have a wider range of cosmetic conditions.

CA Market products come with a 14-day return policy. If returned within 14 days of receiving the order, for any reason, in the same condition that they were received and with all accessories, they will be eligible for a refund.
