NHT Pro Audio To Co-Sponsor MusiCares Benefit in Nashville

BENICIA, CA, April 25, 2006 — NHT Pro Audio has signed on as a co-sponsor of one of Nashville’s biggest blowouts, all to support MusicCares’ efforts to help music industry professionals who are in need of assistance.

The Third Annual Roy Acuff Place Block Party, scheduled to be held in Nashville, TN on Tuesday, May 2nd, 8 PM — 10 PM, brings together some of the audio industry’s biggest names as well as local businesses for an event that will be held on the city’s famed music row. As a co-sponsor, NHT Pro Audio will be on site to greet industry friends and end-users while promoting both MusiCares efforts and the company’s acclaimed selection of studio monitors.

“MusiCares epitomizes what can be accomplished when artists and manufacturers work together to support music pros whose work enriches our lives, but who themselves may have fallen on tough times,” said Don Bassey, Product Manager, NHT Pro Audio. “We’re proud to be a part of such an important event, and you can be sure we’re looking forward to having a blast along with all our friends in Nashville.”

“We started this in the spirit of the old days, when Music Row block parties were common events,” said Rob Dennis of Rack & Roll Audio, one of the party’s host companies. “Friends like NHT Pro Audio are helping to provide an opportunity for the music community to come together, have fun, and support a worthwhile cause.”

MusiCares was established by the Recording Academy in 1989. Approximately 2,000 people are expected to attend this year’s Block Party, where, for a $10 admission fee, they will enjoy barbecue, beer, and live music provided by James Slater and The Tyrone Smith Revue.

In addition to the company’s co-sponsorship of the Block Party, NHT Pro Audio donated a pair of M-00 mini-monitors, an S-00 subwoofer, and a Passive Volume Control (PVC) to be awarded to a lucky participant in the Audio Masters Golf Tournament, scheduled to be held at the Harpeth Hills Golf Club in Nashville on Wednesday, May 3rd, to benefit the Nashville Engineers Relief Fund. (Total prize value is $1,100.00.)
