Vidikron to Show its Expanding Lineup at EHX Spring 2005

UNION CITY, CALIFORNIA — February 16, 2005 — High-definition video enthusiasts will find a thrill for the senses at Vidikron’s product demonstration at the Spring Electronic House Expo 2005. The manufacturer of advanced video projectors, plasma monitors, and image enhancement technology will be showing several of the newest products added to its innovative line. Vidikron’s product demonstration will be in room 231B of Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center during EHX Spring 2005, which is scheduled for February 24 – 26

“At EHX Spring 2005, our product showcase will give attendees a strong impression of the depth and power of the Vidikron product line,” said Jim McGall, vice president of marketing at Vidikron. “We use cutting-edge imaging technology to create products that deliver high-end video performance and the flexibility to integrate with any of the components that make up today’s advanced entertainment systems. Custom installers who experience our newest products will see how we’ve taken those concepts to the next level, offering stunning movie authenticity at a level of value that is unmatched in our industry.”

At the EHX Spring 2005, Vidikron will demonstrate the Vision Models 80 and 100 as well as a plasma monitor from its PlasmaView line. The Models 80 and 100 each use 3-chip light processing engines to achieve greater clarity and smoothness when showing standard- and high-definition images. The Model 100 uses Vidikron’s new LightAmp DLP engine, which was specially designed to maintain accurate grayscale tracking in high ambient light environments. The Model 80 utilizes D-ILA technology to achieve an ultra-high native resolution of 1980 x 1020–over six million pixels.

Vidikron’s PlasmaView flat panel plasma family has given viewers even more reason to be excited about the revolutionary display type. The family includes four monitors, with screen sizes ranging from 42″ to 61″. Their ultra-slim profiles featuring anodized aluminum frames make them perfect for any type of interior, plus Vidikron’s exclusive video processing and IntelliWide mode, which displays standard video in widescreen without any loss in quality.
