Vertical Integrations Group Intros VertiLinc Building Integration Solution

Cutting Edge Building Amenities Package Makes Smart Living Smarter

MIAMI, FL — March 28, 2006 — Vertical Integrations Group, a leading total system solutions provider of building integration technology, today announced the introduction of VertiLinc, a building integration platform designed for commercial buildings, condominiums, and residential neighborhoods looking to integrate administration and common services under one unified and intelligent format. The building integration platform is an automated control and information system designed to simplify residents’ lifestyles with one-touch instant access to a wide variety of services through an intuitive and easy to use graphical interface.

“VertiLinc takes smart living to a new level,” stated Scott Evans, Vice President of Operations for Vertical Integrations Group. “We’ve designed a very simple yet sophisticated platform that delivers instant access to a wide variety of convenience options to enhance a user’s life. There is no need to pick up the phone and order pizza because your favorite place is readily accessible through your system. No phone numbers to remember just press the button on your keypad and the order is sent directly to the restaurant–that simple.”

VertiLinc enables users to take advantage of all the services and amenities offered at their facilities through internal or external service providers accessed though a centralized console in the comfort of their office, apartment, or even bedroom. VertiLinc can also be accessed via a web interface or through any wireless panel with an Internet Browser and secure connection. This provides residents with the freedom to access and control their systems remotely–from the office or from anywhere in the world. Users can reserve tennis courts, order cleaning services, request concierge services, and receive instant building communications in their own customized information portal. Control from keypads, touchscreens, PDA’s, and even cellular phones is as easy as the touch of a button.
In addition, the building integration platform can reside inside a smart home controller. In this configuration, a complete interaction between building events and the home can be achieved. For instance, once the system recognizes that a unit owner’s car has entered the parking lot, the smart home controller is set to the “home” mode where the A/C turns on, entry lights turn on, and even ambiance music starts playing throughout the home.

The Trump Palace in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida will be the first building to feature VertiLinc technology. The entire building is wired and touchpanels are available in a wide number of units throughout the building. VertiLinc enables community integration giving users full access to all the local amenities such as scheduling a day at the spa or ordering food from the Trump Sonesta Spa & Restaurant. In addition, local restaurant, taxi and limousine service, and a complete city guide is right at the user’s fingertips.

Building and Community Integration Features include:
• Request your car from the valet with the touch of a button
• Schedule massages or other services in your building’s spa
• Order food from the in-building restaurant or from dozens of nearby affiliated restaurants
• Reserve tennis courts, racquetball courts, golf tee times, and other activities provided in the building
• Request and schedule maintenance as needed
• View your billing information for your condominium association
• View visitors from your compatible video touchpanel before you authorize them to come in
• Manage deliveries and packages
• Reserve a table in the best city restaurants or surrounding areas
• View local information on entertainment, movies, weather, etc. through the personalized information portal
• Order groceries from local grocery stores to be delivered at your convenience
• Connect to your building information portal right from your compatible cellular phone or blackberry device

Amenity upgrades such as a “Personalized Concierge Service” will also be available as well as many other lifestyle management services designed to fit individual user’s needs.

VertiLinc integration is covered under the building’s monthly maintenance fee and technical support is available 24 hours a day.
