Verizon Wireless Network Extender

VERIZON WIRELESS NETWORK EXTENDER

Enables customers to enhance their wireless coverage inside a home where location, geography or structural conditions may interfere with wireless reception

The Verizon Wireless Network Extender is ideal for summer destinations with structural barriers; basement rooms; or some remote shore, mountainous or hilly locations where receiving a signal can be difficult. Network Extender can also provide improved network access for customers on the geographical fringes of the Verizon Wireless network. Network Extender will work in areas where Verizon Wireless offers wireless service provided there is a compatible broadband Internet connection.

Customers can use Verizon Wireless’ Network Extender to enhance the wireless signal on their mobile phones when calling or texting those country road directions to weekend guests, sending camera phone pictures of Johnny’s belly-wop in the pool, or browsing the Web to find out how to make that favorite barbeque sauce. The signal covers an area of up to 5,000 square feet, which may even include the backyard patio or deck, so vacationers can make calls while sipping lemonade in the shade.

The ideal traveling companion, the Verizon Wireless Network Extender features include:

  • Plug and play set up: Plug the Network Extender into a high-speed Internet connection and place near a window
  • Compatibility: There is no need to buy a new phone as the device is compatible with all Verizon Wireless phones
  • Easy online management: Open or managed access to the Network Extender can be managed by signing into My Verizon online
  • Affordability: No need to update calling plans or add minutes and there are no additional monthly charges for calls using Network Extender

Customers can purchase the Verizon Wireless Network Extender online at www.verizonwireless.com, by phone (800-256-4646) or at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores, for $249.99, plus local taxes.

*Network Extender does not support EV-DO speeds and services that require it.
