Tripp Lite Partners with Home Entertainment Source
To Distribute Professional-Grade A/V Power Protection Products

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chicago, IL (May 31, 2006)–Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection equipment, has entered into a distribution agreement with the Home Entertainment Source (HES) buying group. Under this agreement, HES will distribute Tripp Lite’s professional-grade audio/video UPS systems and power conditioning centers to its member dealers.

HES saves time and money for A/V specialty consumer electronics dealers by enabling them to purchase the products they need through its Expert Warehouses. “Tripp Lite will be a valuable partner for Home Entertainment Source, providing our members with unique power protection solutions,” said HES General Manager Jim Ristow. “We’re pleased to welcome them as a new supplier to the group.”

“Tripp Lite’s limited-distribution A/V power protection line is a perfect fit with the HES buying group concept,” said Tripp Lite Executive Vice President Jim Folk. “These products are designed to benefit the dealer/installer by preserving the link to professional service and enhancing the overall quality and value of end-user installations. Distribution through HES makes these important benefits available to a large pool of specialty A/V dealers/installers.”

Tripp Lite’s professional-grade A/V power protection line includes three power conditioning centers, among them the award-winning HT500PC, plus seven 1U and 2U UPS systems. For more information on Tripp Lite’s A/V Power Protection line, go to: http://www.tripplite.com/products/audiovideo
