The new Tangent DAB 2go portable DAB+/FM radio gives its users extra entertainment options by adding portability to the already successful Tangent table-top radio range. Available soon, this retro-styled radio uses batteries, freeing it from the mains.
Bring it along
“We’ve added another dimension to the Tangent table-top radio range, so our customers can enjoy the great Tangent-quality sound and operation all over. So whether you’re off to the beach or just headed downstairs to finish that job in your workshop, you can collect your Tangent DAB 2go and bring it along. Just don’t forget to bring it back in, popping it on the kitchen countertop when you’re done so your spouse can tune in later!” says Torben Kristensen, Product and Sales Manager of Tangent.
Original design
The Tangent DAB 2go is built in the same housing as the popular Tangent Uno 2go, however the 50’s-inspired tuning dial has be replaced with an easy readable LCD display showing signal strength and battery status besides the present station name, or selected source.
“A robust aluminium handle completes the makeover. Tip the handle towards the back of the radio, slide it into the accompanying wall bracket, and voila, a new placement possibility is born”, says Kristensen
The sound quality of the new Tangent DAB 2go is as great as always. The powerful 3″ driver unit offers vocal and musical renditions honouring the original recordings from both FM and DAB stations, with realistic reproduction as its driving force.
Future proof for all DAB formats
The new DAB 2go is of course future proof in the event a market should decide to change to the DAB+ format. As some current DAB markets are discussing weather to change to DAB+, other markets like Switzerland and Australia has already adapted this format. No matter what type of DAB, the Tangent DAB 2go can be used in either market.

Expected from end February 2010, the Tangent DAB 2go is available in walnut and high gloss white, red and black finishes.
