Skullcandy, the leading brand in affordable headphones and true wireless earbuds have announced the limited-edition Transparency Series.
In addition to providing a good music listening experience, the Transparency Series is also designed to create more visibility regarding environmental impact, including carbon reduction. The series is available exclusively at Skullcandy.com with a portion of proceeds to help fund the critical climate advocacy of Protect Our Winters.
Skullcandy is also partnering with EcoChain to assess its carbon emissions so that its product development and manufacturing practices enable future carbon reduction.
In addition, Skull Candy’s partnership with TerraPass has enabled investment in certified carbon-capture programs to offset impacts. This has resulted in executing a net-zero footprint for products in the Transparency Series.

I own and occasionally use a very nice pair of Skullcandy ANC Skullcrusher headphones. They have a little slider on the left earcup that when you open or close it you can control the bass effect.
I listen to a lot of Traditional Jazz and while this might offend some who claim to want to “hear the music as the artist intended”, I will use the effect of this on albums feature such greats as Mingus, Carter, Brown or more recently McBride.
Jazz, real Jazz, is America’s gift to the world.
Back on topic, I do like several of Skullcandy’s products and in addition to the aforementioned headphones that I own and use, I have given several pair of IEMs to family and friends that are as family.
