Skullcandy Method 360 ANC Earbuds Get a Bose Audio Upgrade—Seriously

Skullcandy’s Method 360 earbuds bring ANC, Bluetooth 5.3, and surprise—Bose-tuned sound. Premium tech, budget price. What’s the catch for $99?

Skullcandy has partnered with audio giant Bose to introduce the Method 360 ANC — a new true wireless earbud that blends premium sound with an accessible price point. Launching at just $129.99, with a limited-time intro price of $99.99, the Method 360 ANC brings advanced noise canceling and refined audio performance to a wider audience. Designed for all-day comfort and everyday use, it’s the most feature-packed earbud Skullcandy has released — and thanks to Bose’s audio tuning, the potential is there for it to be a category leader under $150.

Skullcandy’s Method 360 ANC might just be the curveball the audiophile world didn’t see coming. Tuned in partnership with Bose, these true wireless earbuds aim squarely at listeners who obsess over detail, depth, and soundstage—but don’t feel like dropping three bills to get there.

“This product sets a new standard,” said Justin Regan, VP of Marketing at Skullcandy. “We’re launching at $99.99 because we want more people to hear what’s next. But make no mistake – Method 360 ANC belongs in the premium tier.”

The Method 360 ANC earbuds feature a fully redesigned slider-style charging case with a built-in O-ring clip for on-the-go convenience, and an upgraded tactile finish. With up to 40 hours of battery life (including the case), they’re built to go the distance.

Skullcandy’s partnership with Bose pays off in the fit department too. The Method 360 ANC ships with multiple sets of fit fins and gels using licensed Bose technology—delivering a secure, ultra-comfortable fit that boosts passive noise isolation and lets the hybrid ANC system work at full tilt.

Competitors

There is no shortage of competitors selling active noise cancelling (ANC) wireless earbuds for $99 or less. However, ANC effectiveness is the one area where most models struggle at this price point. Sony and Bose have been leading the pack in ANC, but each charge a premium. So it will be interesting to find out if Skullcandy’s partnership with Bose is the missing link that makes “Bose sound” accessible at a lower price point.

The Bottom Line

The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC is a game-changer at its $99 introductory price, offering premium sound by Bose, advanced noise canceling, and up to 40 hours of battery life. With a customizable fit, robust noise isolation, and features like low latency audio, multipoint pairing, and rapid charge, it delivers exceptional value for audio enthusiasts without the premium price tag. If you’re after top-tier audio performance without breaking the bank, the Skullcandy Method 360 ANC has the potential to be a steal.
