Sharper Image to Carry Callpods Chargepod, an Innovative Cell Phone, PDA and Gadget Charger

Versatile 6-in-1 Chargepod Feeds Popular Portable Devices: iPod, iPhone, Zune, Treo, Blackberry, Most Cell Phones, PDAs and Portable Gaming Devices

CHICAGO — September 27, 2007. Callpod, Inc. announces today that Sharper Image, a specialty retailer nationally and internationally renowned as a leading source of new, innovative, high-quality products, will carry the company’s first product offering, the Chargepod. The Chargepod, 6-in-one charging device, is the perfect solution to portable gadget clutter. The Sharper Image will begin carrying the Chargepod in October 2007.

The Chargepod recently received a high score of 8.3 Excellent from CNET in its first review in July. The Chargepod followed up with another stellar performance with 8 out of 10 from Digitaltrends.com in August. In addition it has been praised by Wired, Popular Science, Gizmodo, PC World, PC Magazine’s Gearlog, Smart Computing, Smartphone Magazine, Orlando Sentinel, Lucky Magazine, Yahoo Tech! and more.

This innovative 6-in-one charging device allows users to charge multiple cell phones, PDAs, headsets, portable gaming devices, MP3 players (e.g. iPod/iPhone), Blackberrys and other mobile electronic devices with a single power cord from home, in the car, when traveling or at the office.

There are more than 40 adapters available for more than 1,500 products from some of the most popular consumer electronics manufacturers including Apple, Microsoft, Motorola, Palm, Sony, Samsung, Nintendo, Plantronics, LG, Nokia etc. Callpod continues to offer adapters for new portable electronics devices soon after they are available at retail.

“The Chargepod is a perfect fit for Sharper Image, as it makes life easier by allowing users the freedom of using one charger for virtually all of their portable electronic devices, and complements Sharper Image’s strategy of offering its customers innovative and useful products,” said Darren Guccione, President, CEO and Co-Founder of Callpod, Inc. “More and more users tend to upgrade their gadgets several times a year, which forces them to purchase additional home, office and mobile chargers that can become costly, difficult to manage and travel with, can occupy too many outlets and waste both energy and space.”
