Scosche solCHAT Solar Powered Bluetooth Speakerphone


Scosche Industries announced the availability of its “green” solCHAT speaker phone. This easy to use hands-free speakerphone is a safe way to make phone calls while driving. An integrated solar panel keeps the solCHAT’s battery charged and ready for use. The Voice announce caller ID says the number of incoming calls making it easy for the driver to know who is calling without taking their eyes off the road.

Its simple three button design (volume up, volume down, and answer/hang-up) and automatic cell phone pairing makes the solCHAT an incredibly user-friendly device.

“With so many states making it illegal to hold and talk on a phone while you drive it’s become a necessity to have a hands-free solution,” Kas Alves, Executive Vice President, Scosche Industries. “The solCHAT solves that problem and helps users lower their impact on the environment at the same time.”

The SolCHAT retails for just $99.99 and is available at Best Buy, and is coming soon to other major retailers. The speaker phone comes with a USB charging cable and car adaptor for charging at night and on overcast days. Scosche also includes a windshield suction cup mount and sun visor clip for easy operation and solar charging.
