AT&T and Samsung Mobile announced the quick messaging Samsung Flight II cell phone (model SGH-A927), a full touchscreen device with horizontal, slide out QWERTY keyboard.

The Flight II is a feature-rich messaging phone that features a touchscreen with a full, horizontal slide-out QWERTY keyboard, ideal for sending text messages, instant messages, e-mail or updating your social networking site. The Flight II has three customizable menu screens and drag-and-drop widgets which allow users ample room for customization and quick access to their most used apps.

Users can also stay up-to-date on the latest news, gossip, weather, sports scores and more with a full HTML web browser. The browser's one-finger zoom provides the ability to zoom in and out with the simple swipe of a finger. The Flight II also features a complete multimedia package, which includes a music player, 2-megapixel camera with camcorder and expandable memory up to 16GB.

Pricing and Availability
The Flight II is available now exclusively at Radio Shack retail locations and AT&T retail locations nationwide for $49 with 2-year agreement and $20/month data/text plan or $299 unactivated.
