Runco has also announced it plans to add to its lineup the new CinemaWall CW-42HD flat panel monitor. Its VirtualWide feature converts 4:3 images for maximum clarity on partner 16:9 plasma panels. The DHD Digital Video Controller also features Orthogonal Line Correction to adjust for unwanted time-elapsed field artifacts as well as 3:2 and 2:2 pull-down for maximum quality playback from film-originated programming. Each plasma and DHD Controller in the four new packages features Runco’s streamlined industrial design, which seamlessly incorporates into any home theater environment.

Runco’s newest plasma, the CW-42HD will feature 1024 x 768 native resolution and a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio to ensure maximize clarity when displaying high-definition programming. At less than five inches deep, the plasma will make a striking centerpiece for any high-end home theater. With the addition of the CW-42HD, Runco now offers ten varieties of plasma, each representing the combined expertise of Runco’s research and development team, and a peerless achievement in home video entertainment quality.
