Following the previous release of their ATALANTE speakers, France-based Revival Audio have unveiled a new bookshelf (SPRINT 3) and floor standing (SPRINT 4) loudspeaker that are aimed at a very different price point. Those looking to spend between $3,000 and $5,000 on a complete system might want to take a closer look at both of these loudspeakers.
Shared Features
SPRINT 3 and SPRINT 4 incorporate an innovative ELYTRON baffle design (based on the carapace of a beetle) and construction to provide precise and balanced sound.
The ELYTRON serves as the front baffle of SPRINT, with fabric grills attached from behind. The baffle is secured magnetically and can be attached or removed from the cabinet as desired.
The asymmetric shape of the baffle, specifically designed with curved angles enhances high-frequency directivity as a waveguide.
The baffle also optimizes the mid to low-frequency performance by reducing the diffraction impact from the core MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) cabinet.

SPRINT 3
The SPRINT 3 is a bookshelf-sized speaker that is designed to deliver quality sound when a compact-sized speaker is more practical or preferable than a floor-standing speaker.

SPRINT 4
The SPRINT 4 is a 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker featuring a 28mm RASC soft-dome tweeter with built-in ARID (Anti-Reflection Inner Dome) patented technology along with a specialized back-chamber design able to absorb 95% resonances.
The two 7-inch woofers employ the BSC (Basalt Sandwich Construction). This supports a balanced rigid and lightweight design, offering a great damping construction that provides a fast and smooth response with tight bass dynamics.
The 2.5-way crossover optimizes the performance of woofers, resulting in a more accurate phase and extended low frequency.
The provided foot spikes provide stability, absorbing vibration and enhancing sound imaging.
