RBH Sound Introduces the SI-6000 In-Wall Loudspeaker

Intended for larger home theaters, the new Signature Series in-wall offers more power and detail — for less.

Layton, UT — November 10, 2005 — A welcomed addition to their Signature Series, RBH Sound introduces the SI-6000 high-performance in-wall loudspeaker. Designed for enthusiasts seeking a serious in-wall loudspeaker at a more affordable price point, the SI-6000 will rock large home theaters without monopolizing valuable floor space.

The SI-6000 delivers all the muscle of a large tower loudspeaker from a discrete in-wall position. Timbre matched to complement its free-standing Signature Series counterparts, the SI-6000 features RBH’s award-winning, proprietary aluminum cone technology, including four 6.5-inch aluminum cone woofers and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter with Ferrofluid liquid cooling. The SI-6000 reproduces high SPL’s (sound pressure level), effortlessly reproducing special effects and music with increased power handling, detail and accuracy.

Securely housed within medium density fiberboard (MDF) cabinetry, the SI-6000 is custom designed by RBH to ensure optimal performance regardless of wall constraints. While adhering to standard wall space, measuring a mere 3.5-iches deep, the SI-6000 can achieve exceptional bass, frequency response, and sensitivity with a power handling capacity of up to 300-watts! The SI-6000 also features tweeter protection; preventing damage sometimes caused by over-zealous enthusiasts.

“The new SI-6000 Signature in-wall loudspeaker meets an attractive price-point while exceeding performance standards of home theater buffs often challenged by the acoustical limitations presented by large home theaters,” states Daren Egan, RBH sales & marketing manager.

The SI-6000 joins an extensive list of available RBH Signature Series speakers including: tower, bookshelf and in-wall speakers to meet varying room size, budgets and listening preferences. The SI-6000 was also designed to work within RBH’s CinemaSITE (Signature In-Wall Theater Environment). CinemaSITE combines furniture-grade woodwork and Signature Series In-wall speakers for an elegant, customized home theater environment capable of accommodating 92 to 110-inch front projection screens. With the introduction of the SI-6000, each of the front left, right, and surround columns can be outfitted with a choice of four Signature in-wall models.

The SI-6000 is available with removable black or white cloth grilles and measures 56″H x 14″W x 3.5″ D. The MSRP of the SI-6000 is $1,199.00/each and it is shipping now.
