Santa Clara, CA — November 5, 2007 — Pragmatic Communication Systems, Inc., an industry innovator in wired and wireless systems since 1994, has developed a powerful wireless digital audio transmission system capable of transmitting Dolby Digital 5.1 DTS and digital PCM data. The TrueMusic 5.1 works beautifully for wireless home theater and distributes multi-room digital audio with ensured simplicity, reliability and easy installation. It is capable of producing an audio frequency response up to 24 KHz, with less than 0.5 dB error across the band.

Pragmatic’s TrueMusic features a transmission range of about 300 feet, with 50,000 uV/m at 3 meters permitting high quality audio to reach all areas of the home. The receiver boasts an extraordinary frequency range of 2.4 GHz and a frequency response of an astounding 20 Hz — 24 KHz which produces a crystal clear audio performance. In addition, the system is available in 902 — 928 MHz, and the superior transmission is reflected with a low noise level of –90 dBV. Other specifications include stereo channel crosstalk of –90 dBV, total harmonic distortion (THD) of 0.03% and an automatic mute mode. The powerful radio waves broadcast through most standard building materials, except exterior aluminum sidings and stucco with chicken wire backing.

Pragmatic Communications Systems, Inc. is a Silicon Valley based company established in 1994 to design, develop and produce a variety of innovative and environmentally conscious products for wireless audio, video and data communications. The majority of the company’s products up until 1997 were designed for industrial and commercial applications, after which Pragmatic branched into the consumer market. The success of the older products led to a strong and dynamic technology base, which helps fulfill Pragmatic’s mission to create solutions to long unresolved technical problems with designs that are both compact and energy efficient. This belief has been applied to a new generation of Pragmatic products such as DMSTM, CATSTM, True MusicTM wireless hi-fi system, and True ViewTM wireless video system.
