Phase Technology Teatro WL-SURR Wireless Surround Speakers

Phase Technology has introduced the Teatro WL-SURR line of wireless surround speakers. WL-Surrounds are designed to bring uncompromising performance with wireless convenience to a home theater or audio system, using uncompressed wireless transmissions.

A WL-Surround speaker requires only an AC power connection for operation. It features an on-wall Bipole/Dipole switchable design in a white or black cabinet that is only 4.5″ deep. Active digital crossovers are employed along with 100 watts of total amplifier power split between the woofer and tweeters.

The transmitter operates in the 2.4 GHz band and uses frequency hopping to ensure an interference-free signal; its uncompressed audio is indistinguishable from a wired system. Three inputs are provided on the transmitter, two for the left and right surrounds and one for an optional subwoofer receiver.

The optional WL-RX SUB receiver can be used to turn any existing powered subwoofer into a wireless sub. Two systems can be used in the same room for those wanting two side surrounds and two rear surrounds, and any number of sub receivers can be used with one transmitter for users wanting multiple wireless subwoofers.

“The WL-Surround speakers bring you amazingly easy installation along with Phase Technology's legendary audio performance. They will make a great addition to a home theater system.”
