Omnimounts Motion52 Wins Pacific Media Associates Buckaroo Award

OmniMount’s Motion52 Motorized Cantilever Mount Bestowed with Another Industry Award by Being Recognized as a Best-of-Show Product Exhibited at CEDIA EXPO 2007

PHOENIX, Ariz. – October 11, 2007 — OmniMount, the global leader in consumer and commercial A/V mounting and furniture solutions, garnered a Buckaroo Award for its Motion52 motorized cantilever mount by Pacific Media Associates (PMA), the global market information experts on large-screen displays. The PMA Awards recognize those new products exhibited at CEDIA EXPO 2007 that PMA judged to be most noteworthy.

“It is a great honor to be recognized by Pacific Media Associates for our innovations,” said Brett Stenhouse, vice president of marketing. “We believe the Motion52 product will change the way viewers experience ‘motion pictures’ forever — giving them the best seat in the house no matter where they sit. We are also confident that consumers will appreciate the quality, design aesthetics and reliability of this groundbreaking product.”

The Motion52, developed in partnership with Samsung, is a state-of-the-art motorized wall mount that allows you to tilt, pan and swivel your flat panel with the touch of a button. The Motion52 is remote controllable via IR (2 memory) and RS232 (3 memory) programmable positions and features universal rails for compatibility with all flat panel brands. The Motion52 includes a built-in safety mechanism that stops movement when obstructed and accommodates all screen sizes from 37″ to 52″ up to 95 lbs. The Motion52 retails at $799.95.

The Buckaroo Awards recognize those products in the display industry that lead the herd in terms of technology and presentation. The inaugural winners are two products in each of four larger categories: flat panel displays, front projectors, rear projection displays and display mounts, the category in which OmniMount won.

The Buckaroo award is named for the pioneering cowboys of the Great Basin country of the American West, which includes portions of California, Nevada, Idaho and Oregon. These cowboys were known for fancy gear that displayed lots of silver ornamentation.
