High-end audio visual home theater PC manufacturer, Okoro Media Systems (OMS), will be working with WSKA Software Corporation to showcase Meedio Essentials of Home Entertainment on high end plasma TV displays at the CEDIA Expo in Indianapolis.

OMS will also be unveiling two new models to demonstrate its high-end video output capability and Meedio’s software functionality. Four plasma TV displays will be provided by the Socratic Group. Hooker Furniture will be providing the home entertainment cabinets with Furniture in Motion’s integrated plasma lift systems to give the whole home theater experience. This whole home theater solution will be demonstrated at booth # 2001.
The new lines of HTPC’s were developed based on extensive research and feedback from the HTPC community. New to the OMS family of HTPC is the Low Profile and the Classic Series. The Low Profile series are designed for the enthusiast that wants a HTPC that does not take up a lot of room and blends seamlessly with other audio visual components. The Classic series enables an enthusiast who wants a more elegant HTPC, which does not have a hint of the traditional PC look. Designed with the look of a high end DVD player, the Classic series has no front USB or Firewire connections to disturb its elegant look.
The Classic will feature the high end HDA Digital X Mystique 7.1 Gold Dolby Digital Live sound card. This sound card allows real time encoding of sound content to 5.1 channel Dolby Digital surround sound through only one optical or coaxial connection to a digital decoder or AV receiver.
Both series are built on the AMD Athlon64 processor platform featuring “Cool N Quiet” technology and a minimum of 1 GB of memory. Like all other Okoro Media System home theater PC’s, you have the power to customize your HTPC online.
