Norcent HD Plasma Televisions Break New Ground for Consumer Value

42O and 50O Models Offer Superior HD Image Detail, Clarity

San Dimas, CA — January 17, 2007 — Norcent, a marketer of high-quality, value-oriented home entertainment products, will introduce its two newest HD plasma televisions at 2007 International CES in Las Vegas. The models, 50O PT-5045HD and 42O PT-4246HD, offer superior HD image detail and clarity. The 16:9 widescreen models further extend NorcentOs dedication to performance, design, and value as well as its commitment to offering quality, affordable plasma televisions for dynamic home entertainment.

OConsumers have shown they are excited over the plasma viewing experience,O stated Dennis Robinson, Norcent CFO. OOur new HD plasma televisions for 2007 introduce updated styling as well as an outstanding set of features to maximize the home entertainment experience. As with all of our Norcent products, the PT-4246HD and PT-5045HD deliver consumers the best value possible.O

With 1366 x 768 resolution (PT-5045HD) and 1024 x 768 resolution (PT-4246HD), these sets deliver a true High Definition viewing experience through an integrated digital tuner. Both feature built-in ATSC and NTSC tuners; the 42O model also includes a Clear-QAM tuner.

Input versatility is another outstanding component of these units. Both include an HDMI input for uncompressed, crystal-clear digital video and high-resolution, multichannel digital audio. Since input is via a single cable, HDMI greatly reduces wiring hassles. Each also has component video, S-video (rear and side), composite video (rear and side), and PC with audio inputs.

3D digital comb filter provides accurate color processing in both models, while high brightness rates of 1000 cd/m2 (50O) and 1200 cd/m2 (42O) along with 10,000:1 and 8,000:1contrast ratios respectively assure clear, crisp images, even in well lit rooms.

Other common features include 160-degree side-to-side viewing; 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i signal compatibility; trilingual (English, French, Spanish) on-screen menu; convenient sleep timer; and parental control.

SRS audio enhancement, found in both models, creates a virtual surround-sound experience using the unitOs internal speakers.

Pricing and Availability
42O PT-4246HD has an estimated street price of $1199.99 and is available now. 50O PT-5045HD has an estimated street price of $1899.99 and will be available in February 2007.
