The RS232G module integrates subsystems, such as Lutron lighting controls and Escient and ReQuest music servers with the award-winning whole-house audio system IntelliControl ICS. Subsystems connected via RS232 are controlled just like any IntelliControl ICS source, with each product’s metadata and source information sent to IntelliControl ICS keypads, touchscreens and two-way wireless iRemote for ease of use and simplified control. Additionally the RS232G allows popular control panel interfaces to operate the IntelliControl ICS system. The RS232G integrates easily via CAT 5 and can be positioned up to 100 yards away from the main system. It retails for $299.95.
