NetStreams Selects New Central Regional Sales Manager

AUSTIN, TX — March 9, 2004 — NetStreams, America’s leading Networked Audio solutions provider, announced today the appointment of Kevin Garretson to central regional sales manager. With over twenty-four years of consumer electronics experience, plus tenures at various manufacturing and distributing firms, Garretson brings significant sales and marketing insight to increasing the company’s central sales.

NetStreams chief executive officer Herman Cardenas said, “We’re excited to have Kevin here at NetStreams. His experience in the consumer electronics/custom installation industry and results-driven orientation make him ideal to lead our central sales team. As we prepare for an exciting year in distributed audio, we’re certain Kevin will be able to make an immediate impact.”

As NetStreams’ central regional sales manager, Kevin’s duties include implementing an effective sales and marketing plan to support the ever-evolving custom installation market. Kevin will also be responsible for the development and growth of the central territory, plus the coordination of educational and training programs for NetStreams’ authorized dealer base.

Garretson brings over twenty-four years of successful, proven sales and management experience to NetStreams. He joins the NetStreams team from Escient where he served as eastern regional sales manager. Prior to Escient, he was eastern regional sales manager for speaker manufacturer, Sonance. Previously, he held the position of director of sales and marketing at nationwide distributor, Allnet Inc. Prior to distribution, Kevin lead Bang & Olufsen for eleven years in such positions as training manager, western regional sales manager, midwest regional sales manager, key accounts sales manager, and manager of marketing services.
