New Hope, Minnesota, August 16, 2004. Multiband (NASDAQ: MBND–News) today announced the opening of the first of two new business units, Multiband Business Solutions. Multiband recognized that companies requiring the latest in voice, data and video communications systems and technology don’t have the inclination or capital to completely replace their technology infrastructure every three years. These companies are looking for ways to maximize their investment in equipment and technology, while keeping present systems in place longer and reevaluating additions to their networks.

Ms. Hoekstra is a graduate of North Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising & Retailing. Her career includes work at Microsoft (formerly Great Plains Software), Corporate Technologies, and RDO Equipment Co. where she served as Vice President of Training and Communications. She returned to Corporate Technologies, now Multiband Business Solutions, in 2001.

Multiband provides a full range of voice, data and video communications systems and service to more than 2000 clients, system integration, training and related communication sales and support activities for commercial, professional and institutional clients, most of which are located in Minnesota and North Dakota.
