Migrate Your Programs to New Vista PCs with Laplinks PCmover

Laplink Software offers journalists working with Vista an easy way to migrate to a new Vista-based PC.

January 17, 2007–Bellevue, WA–For the third month in a row, PCmover remains the best selling migration software solution in North American retail stores, according to data from the NPD Group.

And with the official Vista launch only 2 weeks away, Laplink is inviting any journalists who plan on reviewing or working with Microsoft Vista in the coming months to use a pre-release copy of PCmover for Vista to move everything, including programs, to their new PC.

The Vista-ready version of the product will officially be launched on January 23, 2007.

PCmover remains the only migration product on the market that transfers programs and applications from one PC to another, including new Vista-based PCs. Migrations can be performed over a network (including wireless), using Laplink USB cables, the Windows Easy Transfer cable, or removable media such as DVD-R or external hard drives.

PCmover Moving Kit Edition is available at Staples, Office Depot, CompUSA, Fry’s, Micro Center and other major retailers for $69.95, or at starting at $49.95 for the download version.
