Marshall’s breaking new ground in home audio with the Heston 120 — their very first $1,000 TV 5.1.2 soundbar, designed to deliver sound so immersive, it practically parts the sea of mediocre TV audio. This bad boy doesn’t just amplify the story on screen—it keeps the music rolling well past the credits, thanks to Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and a whopping 11 drivers aimed in every direction like a biblical blast of surround sound.
Bass? Oh, it’s deep, rich, and powerful enough to make those special effects hit harder than Moses dropping the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. The Heston 120 throws sound exactly where it needs to go, making your living room feel like the promised land of home theater.
Connectivity? You got it. With HDMI eARC, HDMI pass-through, Wi-Fi for streaming, Bluetooth 5.3 featuring the latest LE-audio tech including Auracast, and even good old-fashioned RCA inputs for those analog purists, this soundbar is the burning bush of versatile audio gear.
The Heston 120 packs a serious punch with dual rear-facing subwoofers and four passive radiators that cover the full low-frequency range, delivering bass that hits deep and clean. Control is a breeze right from your device—tweak the EQ to boost bass or treble, and use the built-in room calibration to fine-tune the sound perfectly to your space.
Thou Shalt Not Settle: Marshall Heston 120 Soundbar Delivers Explosive Dolby Atmos Sound
This 5.1.2 setup brings immersive audio to life with 11 Class D amplifiers—two powering the subs at 50 watts each, and nine more pushing 30 watts to the rest of the drivers. Choose from multiple sound modes: Movie Mode cranks up the goosebumps, Voice Mode ensures you catch every word, and Music Mode pumps your playlists loud and proud.
For late-night watching, Night Mode tames booming effects and brings dialogue front and center—perfect for not waking the neighbors while still feeling the action.
And of course, it’s pure Marshall style from top to bottom—knurled metal knobs that scream rock ‘n’ roll heritage, wrapped leather trims, and a brushed metal panel that makes a statement louder than any prophet’s shout. Plus, it’s built to last, with replaceable parts including drivers and circuit boards—because even miracles need maintenance.
Marshall’s mixed the old and new like manna from heaven: tactile bass and treble knobs let you dial in your perfect sound on the fly, while the new app offers room calibration to tailor your audio experience to your space. Sound modes like Music, Movie, Night, and Voice let you switch commandments depending on the situation.
“We knew most soundbars don’t serve both TV and music well,” says Anders Olsson, Senior Product Manager at Marshall. “This gave us a reason to exist—to deliver on our legacy of music and audio with a soundbar that doesn’t compromise.”
And Ed Camphor, Marshall’s Audio Tech Lead, adds, “We spent hundreds of hours tuning the Heston 120. We gave TV and music equal time because you deserve a player that’s as serious about your playlists as it is about your blockbusters.”

Worry not, Sir Antonio. If it really has sold out they’ll make more! It does look very nice in the photographs and I have owned a couple of Marshall’s WiFi speakers and find their build quality and sound to be very good.
