Provides Image Recovery Capabilities for Photographers Shooting With Any Memory Card

Lexar Media announced the launch of Lexar Image Rescue™ 4 software, the newest version of Lexar’s popular image recovery software. Image Rescue 4 enables photographers to recover most lost or deleted images and videos from any memory card form factor, from any manufacturer, and is compatible with all mass storage-compliant card readers. New features on the award-winning software include an easy-to-manage one-step recovery interface, automatic updates to ensure the software’s compatibility with new RAW images and operating systems, and expanded language support.

“For professional and hobbyist photographers alike, the thought of losing any important pictures or videos is a nightmare,” said Jeff Cable, director of marketing, Lexar Media. “With its extensive recovery capabilities, Image Rescue 4 software is a powerful yet simple tool to help get those files back, and preserve special memories or assignments that might otherwise have been lost forever. The latest version of Image Rescue software will provide a friendlier user interface, support multiple languages and help photographers around the world recover their lost images and videos, regardless of which brand or type of memory card they use, providing valuable peace of mind to both professionals and consumers alike.”

Lexar Image Rescue 4 software is compatible with PC and Mac operating systems, and supports multiple languages, including English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese. When recovering an image, the award-winning software scans every sector of a memory card and automatically reports any errors. The software also allows photographers to perform low-level formatting of their cards, enabling them to restore the card’s factory settings.

Downloadable Lexar Image Rescue 4 software is included with the purchase of any Lexar Professional CompactFlash (CF) and Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC™) memory cards.
