JVC KW-NT3HDT AV Navigation Head Unit with HD Radio Traffic

JVC is introducing the KW-NT3HDT, an all-in-one memory navigation system with built-in HD Radio, offering real-time traffic conditions and other useful information. With the highly reliable Windows Automotive OS, quick start-up, and P.O.I. updatable with Google Maps, the unit provides stress-free driving on the road. Other features include Bluetooth Wireless Technology, iPod/iPhone™ audio and video playback, iTunes Tagging, detachable face panel, and user-friendly interface.

• HD Radio Traffic & News Service
  In addition to real-time traffic conditions, fuel prices and weather information are also available via HD Radio broadcast.
• StreetDirector Assistant
  The latest P.O.I. data can be obtained from Google Maps. Download the free PC link software, search new P.O.I. data on Google Maps, and save on an SD card, etc., for uploading to the unit.
• Built-in Bluetooth Wireless Technology
  The included wired microphone offers flexible settings for clear communication. The Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) for iPhone™ lets you automatically access your phone book without transfer. You can also manually transfer up to 500 numbers from compatible cell phones. Switching from hands-free to a private conversation can be done by a push of a key.
• Detachable Face Panel
  When leaving your car, you can detach the double-DIN face panel and carry it in the included case to guard against theft.
• Variable-Color Illumination
  In addition to 8 presets and 2 user settings, 30,000 colors are available by RGB combination.

The navigation features map coverage of the U.S. (including Alaska and Hawaii), Canada, and Puerto Rico, high-sensitivity WAAS enabled GPS for accurate navigation, over 6 million P.O.I. data from infoUSA, and quick start up in less than 15 seconds. Both Text-to-Speech and voice guidance are available in English, Spanish, and French. Other useful features include magnified view, Lane Guide, Speed Limit Display, Speed Alert function, and brand P.O.I. icons. You can search from various options including P.O.I. (name/vicinity/phone number), address, zip code, coordinates, and 100 favorite/last 50 destinations. The user-friendly touch panel is based on Grid-Layout Design, with consistent key position for each screen. Hard keys are also available on the frame for instant access to frequently used functions.

Besides quality digital sound, HD Radio also offers iTunes Tagging; a smart feature letting you tag songs you hear on the radio for easy purchase at the iTunes Store. With both AUX and USB on the front panel, the KW-NT3HDT provides flexible entertainment options. You can listen to your iPod/iPhone™ by a USB digital connection, or even enjoy videos with an optional KS-U29 cable. Connection for other digital audio players is available via the AUX input. The unit plays MP3 audio files from DVD/CD/USB/SD sources. The GUI and song information are available in English, Spanish, and French.

The Adaptive Volume adjusts the volume level according to your car speed in 4 (off/low/mid/high) settings, for both navigation and AV sound.

The KW-NT3HDT is available in March with an MSRP of $1,199.95.
