JBL L52 Classic Loudspeaker Colors

Following up on the success of its Classic L100 and L82 Bookshelf speakers, JBL has introduced another addition to its Classic line, the compact L52 bookshelf speaker.

With its compact size, the L52 provides convenient setup options including stand-mount, bookshelf, tabletop, and is also wall mountable. To make it even more appealing, the speaker grill comes in Black, Blue, or Orange.

JBL L75ms Integrated Music System

JBL L75ms Music System

In addition to the L52 bookshelf speakers, JBL has announced the L75ms Integrated Music system.

This is a single cabinet system (sort of looks like a soundbase that is sometimes used with TVs) that combines a JBL curved speaker array with built-in amplifiers and a music playback system.

TIP: The curved front design supports a wider soundfield.

Speakers and Amplifiers

To start, the L75ms incorporates a 5-driver speaker design with dual 5.25-inch woofers, two 1-inch Aluminum tweeters, and one 4-inch midrange driver to optimize vocal and dialog sound reproduction. The response of the speaker system is stated by JBL as 45 Hz to 25 kHz (-6 dB).

The speakers are supported by separate amplifiers for the woofers (125 watts RMS per woofer), tweeters (25 watts RMS per tweeter), and midrange (50 watts RMS).

The L75ms also provides an HDMI-ARC connection. If used with an HDMI-ARC equipped TV, this allows you to boost your TV sound.

In addition to traditional volume and bass/treble control, there is a built-in selectable Soundfield Expander and a Bass Contour On/Off setting.

Control options include a provided remote and compatibility with the Harman MusicLife App for Android and iOS

In addition to system control, the MusicLife app provides access to several music streaming services, including Internet Radio, TIDAL, Qobuz, and Napster.

Whether you are an old-school vinyl fan, a trendy streamer, or both, JBL wants you to consider the L-75ms Integrated Music System as your preferred music listening device.

The L-75ms weighs 35 pounds and comes with a 5-year warranty.

More information is available on the Official JBL L75ms Product Page. The L75ms will become available in the fall of 2021 for $1,500.

$1,000 for a bookshelf speaker today does seem high when you have options from Klipsch, ELAC, Wharfedale, and Polk Audio that are cheaper.

We’re reviewing them so I guess we’ll see how they compare.
