Scans Photos, Receipts, Checks, and Business Cards Directly to Memory Card — No PC Required

Vina, Inc. announced today the new BulletScan M40 mobile scanner. The BulletScan M40 scans photos and documents up to 4-by-8 inches directly to a USB flash drive or SD/micro SD card without the need of a PC. It's ideal for scanning shoe boxes of family photos at home or for scanning and e-mailing receipts and business cards with any micro SD card compatible smartphone while on the road.

The BulletScan M40 measures 2-by-3-by-7 inches, and weighs less than 5 ounces. There is an optional battery pack which allows for anywhere, anyplace scanning. The battery can support scanning over 500 images before requiring a charge. Offering the ultimate in portability and ease-of-use, the BulletScan M40 is designed for both the novice user as well as the road warrior.

Scan Receipts, Checks, and Business Cards to BlackBerry
The BulletScan M40 is more than just a portable photo scanner. It instantly converts receipts, business cards, checks and ID cards to digital files where they can be organized, stored and shared. The M40 has an SD port and includes a micro SD card adapter, so scanned images saved to a micro SD card can be transferred to a BlackBerry or any other smartphone that supports SD or micro SD cards.

Transfer Saved Images to PC, Mac, Digital Frames and More
The BulletScan M40 is platform independent. Scanned images saved to the USB Flash Drive or SD or micro SD card can be transferred to any USB, SD or micro SD compatible device including Windows PCs, Macs, digital photo frames, cameras, or smartphones.
