iDevices has released a second generation, water-resistant wireless speaker and speakerphone for the bathroom called the iShower2. The new device looks exactly the same as the original model, but the company claims the new one has extended battery life and improved sound quality for the same price.
The iShower2 pairs wirelessly with Bluetooth enabled devices to deliver music or calls right to your shower. With iShower2’s 200-foot Bluetooth range, your phone stays safe and dry, while still giving you control to Play, Pause, Skip tracks and even answer or ignore phone calls. So you don’t have to worry about missing a phone call, while you’re in the shower.
Additional features include multiple mounting options, LED clock, and capability to pair up to five devices. Though I am not sure how you know what was last paired, or how to switch between paired devices?
Let’s hope the company fixed problems from their first version. Currently, customers have posted 18 negative one-star reviews on Amazon.com about the original iShower. Users complained it was defective, didn’t sound good, or broke right after the warranty period.
