HAI Enhances Award-Winning Home Automation Controllers — the OmniPro II, Omni IIe, Lumina Pro, and Lumina Now Include Five Serial Ports and Flash Memory for Easy Firmware Updates

HAI will be demonstrating the newly enhanced Omni and Lumina family controllers in Booth 1312 at the Electronic House Expo to be held in Orlando, Florida, March 13 — 15, 2008.

HAI (Home Automation, Inc.), leading manufacturer of integrated automation and security products since 1985, is now shipping its award-winning OmniPro II, Omni IIe, Lumina Pro, and Lumina automation controllers with five serial ports and flash memory for easy firmware updates.

The OmniPro II and Omni IIe are part of HAI’s Omni family of home control systems that feature built-in UL Listed security and fire systems, lighting control, temperature control and audio control. The Lumina Pro and Lumina home control systems offer full lighting, temperature and audio control, but differ in that they do not include built-in security. The Lumina series is for homeowners who do not wish for security functions or who would prefer to integrate the automation and lighting benefits of the Lumina Pro/Lumina with an existing security system. Both the Omni and Lumina family controllers may be accessed and controlled over a telephone or over the Internet.

“There is no increase in price for the additional features that have been added to the Ethernet versions of the Omni and Lumina controllers,” explains HAI President Jay McLellan. “The added benefits are simply part of HAI’s commitment to our dealers and customers to provide the most cost effective, reliable, flexible, and powerful home control products on the market.”

HAI products are available through a worldwide network of Distributors and installing dealers. For more information regarding HAI products, please visit www.homeauto.com or call 800-229-7256.
