Frost & Sullivan Names SIPBox Entrepreneurial Company of the Year for Enterprise Telephony Equipment Services

TINLEY PARK, IL– (November 27, 2006) — SIPBox, an end-to-end telephony provider that designs, implements and supports VoIP solutions for medium to large enterprises, today announced that it is the recipient of the 2006 Frost & Sullivan Award for Entrepreneurial Company of the Year for its role as an emerging company with vast potential in the enterprise telephony equipment services market. With a specialty in Asterisk, the industry’s first open source telephony platform, SIPBox offers a complete solution and handles the entire process on site, from design to implementation to ongoing management and support.

“As the demand for open-source solutions increases, SIPBox will experience significant growth,” said Krithi Rao, Frost & Sullivan Industry Analyst. “The value proposition that SIPBox offers will help the company differentiate in a market entrenched with legacy equipment vendors and penetrate a large number of diverse enterprise segments.”

With this Award, Frost & Sullivan recognizes SIPBox’s ability to build around its inherent strengths and identify a unique target market with significant market potential. The Frost & Sullivan Award for Entrepreneurial Company is presented each year to the small company that demonstrated superior entrepreneurial ability in its industry during the research period.

“Leveraging our history in IT systems integration and our experience with IP PBXs, such as Asterisk, SIPBox is helping to grow the IP telephony market and provides enterprise and carriers customers with the ability to easily make the switch to VoIP,” said Chad Agate, CEO SIPBox. “We are pleased to accept this honor and are extremely excited that Frost & Sullivan based this Award on the success of our satisfied base of Asterisk customers.”
