FiiO has entered the budget wireless headphone fight with the EH13, a $50 pair of noise-cancelling over-ears that look far more polished than their price suggests. Promising wireless convenience, active noise cancellation, and all-day comfort in a clean, modern design, the EH13 is aimed squarely at first-time buyers and casual listeners who do not want to spend premium-headphone money.
The asking price almost feels suspiciously low; and that is not especially welcome news for OneOdio, EarFun, or JLab, all of whom have built their businesses around convincing value-conscious buyers to stretch just a little further.
What Is Inside the FiiO EH13?
Drivers: The EH13 incorporates 40mm dynamic drivers with sapphire-coated domes and a PEEK+PU composite surround structure. This combination is designed to support low distortion, fast transient response, and improved bass extension.
Noise Cancelling: The EH13’s intelligent hybrid active noise cancellation is designed to create a more focused listening environment. Five built-in microphones and advanced Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) algorithms also help improve call clarity by reducing surrounding noise.
Three ANC modes are available: Low for greater awareness while walking, Medium for offices and other indoor work environments, and High for louder settings such as traffic and air travel.
Bluetooth: The EH13 is equipped with Bluetooth 6.0 for a reliable wireless listening experience. Bluetooth multipoint connectivity is supported, making it easy to work on a laptop while taking phone calls.
It also supports high-resolution LDAC transmission at rates up to 990 kbps, along with a wide frequency response. AAC and SBC codec support is included for broad device compatibility.

Wired Connectivity Option: Although wireless convenience may be the preferred option, the EH13 also includes a 3.5mm input and cable for wired listening. This allows users to connect the headphones to game consoles, DAPs, other compatible source devices, and in-flight entertainment systems.
DSP: Intelligent DSP compensation helps maintain a consistent sound signature across wired and wireless listening modes when the headphones are powered on. All functions can be accessed using discreet physical button controls.
Battery Life: The EH13 offers up to 45 hours of playback with ANC enabled and up to 75 hours with ANC turned off from a single charge. A full recharge takes approximately two hours.
What’s On the Outside
Foldable Design: The EH13 provides a foldable design that rotates into a flat, compact shape for easy transport, making it an ideal travel companion.
Control App: Users can fine-tune the listening experience via the FiiO Control App (iOS and Android). The app provides professionally tuned EQ presets as well as user-custom EQ settings for a personalized sound profile. Listeners can also choose dedicated cinema or game profiles.

The Bottom Line
The EH13 is not trying to replace flagship models from Focal, Bowers & Wilkins, or Sony. At $49, it is taking aim at the value end of the market with an unusually ambitious feature set: sapphire-coated 40mm dynamic drivers, hybrid ANC, LDAC, Bluetooth 6.0 multipoint connectivity, wired 3.5mm listening, and up to 75 hours of claimed battery life. That is a lot of hardware on paper for the price of a few records and a sandwich near an airport.
The real competition comes from the OneOdio Focus A6, EarFun Tune Pro, EarFun Wave Pro, and JLab JBuds Lux ANC. Those models have already made the budget wireless category far more competitive, but FiiO’s combination of driver design, hi-res codec support, physical controls, and aggressive $49 pricing gives the EH13 a clear identity. For first-time buyers, students, commuters, and anyone who wants a feature-packed set of wireless headphones without spending more than $50, the EH13 looks like one of the more interesting new entries in the category.
