Electronics Accessories Are The Most Profitable Category In Retailing Consumer Electronics

ComponexX Product Line Designed, Manufactured And Specially Priced To Compete Very Profitability With The Giants In The Industry

ComponexX announced today their new direct-dealer program. Why should distributors, retail dealers, installers, builders, integrators and general electronics dealers be interested? By adding to and/or expand their present business product offerings in the home theater signal distribution accessory category, they become a more competitive player in one of the few retail categories still alive and well. According to the Consumer Electronics Association, at the present time, accessories are the most profitable product category in the retailing of consumer electronics products. Why ComponexX? They have earned a 10 year worldwide reputation quietly designing, manufacturing and wholesaling top-quality products, at very competitive prices, with excellent customer service, offering a fully branded product line of A/V signal distribution products, along with Winegard antennas, Televes Headend Equipment and Commdeck antenna mounting systems.

Edwin Diaz, President of ComponexX said, “While sales of practically everything else have slowed dramatically, more and more Americans are staying home trying to save a buck in this economy and looking for ways to stay entertained while they’re doing it. According to a recent report released a few months ago by Nielsen Media Research, people are watching more television than ever before and buying HDTVs, which are cheaper than ever thanks to manufacturers’ price cuts, giving more people access to high quality entertainment in their homes. Realizing that any home theater set-up is only as good as the signal distribution products used to distribute the digital information, we saw a niche for a quality accessory signal distribution competitor in this market.”

Diaz continued, “With this in mind, we’ve launched several new product lines to give dealers a real choice in different features and benefits, at different affordable price-points. We know that Consumer Electronics companies come in all sizes. ComponexX wants to offer profitability to all dealers from the very small to the very large, while retaining the loyalty of all our present dealers. So we require no “minimum volume” order for any company to become or retain “dealership” status. But promise increased sales will result in increased margins on a sliding scale.”

Eric Schwab, owner of EDC (Electronics Distributors Corporation), ComponexX’s West coast master distributor said, “I took on the ComponexX cable line because I liked the products, their pricing and packaging and we wanted to expand into this higher quality cable, which we preferred over Monster. Distributors, dealers and installers on the West coast should contact me for pricing and information”.

And signal distribution starts with A/V cables, Diplexers, Amplifiers, Multi-switches, Power inserters, Attenuators and much more. Michael Sherman, Director of Marketing said,” When dealers purchase these products, they can pay for a highly promoted name with an equally high price or they can buy comparable high quality accessory products from us at a fraction of the price of the well-known brands. Dealers know that the quality of A/V signal distribution products that come with home entertainment equipment is dictated by manufacturer’s price considerations and is obviously not the highest quality. Some of this equipment comes with standard 20 year old A/V distribution technology.”

Considering the expense incurred by customers in the purchase of their home theater equipment, shouldn’t dealers encourage them to take advantage of the full picture and sound quality available by upgrading those supplied signal distribution products or selling HDMI or Optical cable where none was supplied by the manufacturer?

Diaz continued, “We now have two master distributors. Mid-State Distribution Company headquartered in Des Moines, IA, with offices in Cedar Rapids, IA, Denver, CO, Omaha, NE, Fargo, ND and Shreveport, LA. Our West coast Master Distributor is Electronics Distributors Corporation located in Costa Mesa, CA. We are looking for distributors and dealers in these areas and also the North East, North West Coast, South West and South East coast who see the value of expanding their accessory lines. We will be exhibiting at both CEDIA in Atlanta, Georgia and SCTE in Denver, Colorado. Plan to stop by our booth if you will be in attendance.”

Larry Young, Mid-State Distribution Headquarter Branch Manager said “Mid-State is excited to be appointed a master distributor for a quality line such as ComponexX and is ready to serve dealers and retail outlets in the Central United States.”

Although ComponexX produces its own branded products, they also accept OEM and ODM projects.

To request a new sales catalog, prospective dealers can contact Gail Gaetano at gail@componexx.com or call her at 888-572-8229 or view the catalog on-line.
